If you’ve been

playing World of Warcraft for more than 3 minutes online, you’ve probably heard of Joana’s 1-70 Horde Leveling guides. I’ve had them now for several weeks in my possession and feel comfortable reviewing them.

In a nutshell, what’s written on the sales page is NOT hype - it delivers as promised. Here’s what you get.

Joana’s 1-25 Blood Elf Leveling Guide - Laid out in a precise step-by-step, “do this first then this next and then follow up with …. ” style, you are told exactly where to go, what to do, and how to do it. For example, you’re given the first quest and then told what to accept. After that, you are told to turn in a specific place, accept another specific quest, perform specific actions, etc. All in all, it’s a very simple, straightforward guide that anyone can follow. Hyperlinked maps are provided as well as are high-quality full videos of the specific steps described.

Joana/Mancow’s Leving Guide for Horde - Very very impressive indeed. The author really did his homework!! To wit:

…and the first time I went through the game I read EVERY quest description and took my time REAL slowly, learning everything I can about the game, I tried every profession, I did every instance at least 5 times and I studied the websites on every instance. As I played through the game the first time I constantly pressed “M” to see the map and where I was, so I could memorize the game world and where everything is exactly located……

The data provided bears out the authors claims above and beyond what he writes. There’s a wealth of Hunter specific tips, leveling tips, auto-run tips, hotkeys list, you name it, it’s spelled out in a very easy to follow format.

Joana/Mancow’s Outland Guide for Horde Step by Step Guide - this is the plan the author uses when racing from 60 to 70 on new servers. Just like with the previous guides, exact steps are offered including what to accept, what to discard, what to turn in, where to fly, to whom to speak, etc.etc. Some suggestions within the guides include:

• Keep an eye out for Glow Cap Mushrooms, collect 10 of them you’ll need them for a later quest
• While doing the following, focus on doing ‘Preparing the Salve’ as well
• Make sure you pick up the “Fel Orc Plans” scroll and ….

Again, really nicely done.

Joana/Mancow’s Outland Guide for Horde Reference Guide
